Northeast Whitewater Yurts offer a comfortable nights stay, with nearby fire pits for s’more making and stargazing, situated only a few yards from our new bathhouse, our yurts are equipped with electricity as an added bonus. Choose from our glamping yurts that sleep 1-2 guests with a king size bed, night stand, electricity or our larger yurts ideal for the kids, a group of friends or the entire family that sleeps up to 7 guests. To give you the satisfaction of outdoor serenity, our yurts sit in a semi-private area surrounded by hemlock, birch and fir trees. Yurts, the ideal getaway retreat to satisfy hardcore campers and those seeking a more comfortable nights sleep. Better known for glamourous camping, glamping yurts are a unique way to stay in a wooded campground setting taking in the outdoor experience, all the while accomplishing the modern conveniences so many desire. Northeast Whitewater Yurts treat you to a rustic, yet realistic comfortable glam-camping stay while enjoying your Moosehead Lake Things to Do with us. Yurts are a circular hut made from latticed wood, overlaid with a canvas wrap. Our camping yurts are situated on a wooden deck, which is the platform as the interior, but also great for outside seating.
We are animal lovers and have two official greeters, which are our Northeast Whitewater Dogs, Abby and Ellis. We chose to name our yurts after the dogs that have been a part of our outdoor adventure lifestyle so far. Please note: even though we love animals, we do not allow pets in our glamping yurts and campground. We have adopted a no pets campground because Northeast Whitewater Lodge, Campground & Guide Service is our dogs home. Loving and dog petting is encouraged always when visiting our dogs while they live and work here. There is no smoking allowed in Northeast Whitewater yurts.

Reminder that even though yurts offer comfort from the elements, you still need to prepare for bugs, mosquitos and pack extra layers for rainy or cool weather.

Yurts have electricity, but you should pack a headlamp and/or flashlights with extra batteries for the walk from the yurt to the bathroom at dark.
No smoking, cooking or pets allowed in our yurts.
Check-in starts at 2 PM, and we’re open daily until 7 PM (hours may vary seasonally). For late arrivals, please contact us in advance to arrange your late check-in and sign in using the late check-in mailbox. Check-out is by 10:30 AM.
