Canada Falls is a class V river, with steep drops and a 20 foot natural waterfall know as The Slide. Canada Falls is a unique whitewater rafting trip, with scheduled releases on Saturday’s in July and August. Maine’s most remote wilderness whitewater rafting trip experience is the Dead River. 16 miles of continuous Maine rafting with non-stop whitewater, it is an exhilarating ride. The Dead River has six scheduled high water release dates that are sure to get your blood pumping. Since the Dead River only releases a few times a year for whitewater rafting, the level of whitewater released changes the rafting experience and level of excitement from raft trip to raft trip. There are multiple class III-IV rapids.

SEBOOMOOK

The gem of the North Maine Woods is the Seboomook section of the Penobscot River, where whitewater rafting becomes a day for playing in the bubbling whitewater rapids. Spring snowmelt means high volume Maine rafting with class III and IV rapidly flowing sections of whitewater. During the summer months, there are consistent river flows that are great for youth and families that want to experience whitewater rafting, but want a milder Maine rafting trip. We raft the Seboomook section of the Penobscot River twice for maximum whitewater fun.
