Accommodations
1. Yurts
Yurts are a structure that was traditionally used as housing by central Asia’s indigenous people. Our modern yurts are cozy circular wooden structures with windows and a see-through dome. The dome is wonderful for allowing guests to gaze at the starry nights without the hassle of bugs, making our yurts the perfect place to stay in the Moosehead Lake Region! We know your Maine vacation isn’t complete without a campfire to toast marshmallows and enjoy a drink! Our king bed yurts make for the perfect couple’s getaway in Moosehead Lake. Our family yurts offer a queen bed and multiple bunks, sleeping up to 7 people total!
2. Bunk Houses
Bunkhousing at Northeast Whitewater offers a comfortable, no-frills place to recharge after a full day of adventure. Perfect for groups, guides, and outdoor enthusiasts, the bunkhouses provide a laid-back, communal setting with easy access to rafting trips, trails, and the lake itself. It’s a practical, affordable option that keeps you close to the action while embracing the true backcountry feel of Moosehead Lake. Mattresses are included, which means you just need to bring sleeping bags, pillows, and a positive attitude, and you can skip the frustrating tent setup. And let’s be honest, you probably forgot the tent poles anyway, we all have!
3. Tent Sites
Want to bring your tent on the road? Our resort is the perfect landing spot for you! We offer several different tent sites where you will be sure to find a place to settle in. Tuck your tent away under the trees or set it up in a clear opening to soak up all the sun!
